The Delegation of the Indo Arab Chamber of Commerce met the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today to present memorandum on behalf of 17 arab countries for extending economic assistance programs in various Minority welfare schemes in the state.  The team was led by the Chairman Krishna Kumar IAS who is a former indian cabinet minister and 5 times Loksabha MP .  He was accompanied by the executive Director Mr Asif Iqbal.  Former Civil Aviation minister and senior congress leader of the state, Mr C M Ibrahim lauded efforts put by the chamber of commerce in initiating various projects and generating employment for many muslims in the state. 

Investments from Arab countries will flow into Karnataka and revenue generation for the state in terms of growth will be the prime focus for the Chambers in the next five years of the congress government.

The meeting was attended by Minority welfare Minister Mr Qamarul Islam, Ex MLC Naseer Ahmed, Senior Leader Mr Jaffer Shariff and N A Harris, MLA from shantinagar.
