SANTONI SOUVENIR: AN EVOCATIVE JOURNEY BETWEEN POETRY AND MEMORIES

The earth and its many shades. This is how Santoni is telling the story of Spring-Summer 2024:

a journey into the deep essence of the Marche region, local traditions and natural landscapes.

A reinterpretation of the brand’s codes, from a contemporary perspective and where materials, shapes and colors coexist in a perfect alchemy and in respect of a sensitive and sophisticated craftsmanship.

Ancient manual traditions are the beginning in the making of a collection with fluid forms and unexpected details. And it is actually in the workmanship that the tale of this journey begins, where pastel-shaded inlays, contrasting stitching and refined weaves become the creative basis that transforms each model into a precious object of refined design.

Original classicism and technical virtuosity are the dominant aspects of the formal lines, among which this season stand out: the special lace-up, iconic for the Maison, with the perfect purity of its lines and personalized by poetic ton-sur-ton engravings on the upper; the Figaro model, a new square-toe interpretation of the classic city moccasin, offered in both lace-up and tasseled versions; the iconic loafers, unfailing the double buckle model, embellished by plays of interlacing, dry lines and proposed in a mix of leathers and patinas for every occasion. Protagonist again this season is the Andrea moccasin, presented both in the classic version in black calfskin with contrasting tassels Arancio Santoni, Rosa pink and Onda blue and in sophisticated variants in nappa leather and suede, with exclusive woven leather details.

Distinguished by tangible heritage, models from the more casual line and sneakers also interpret the Maison’s leisure with clean shapes and unique details. The new DBS Olympic combines sportswear references with timeless design. A trainer with a slightly retro shape and flavor, it features contrasting color details and the iconic double buckle, which seals the design with its graphic shape. New colors also for the seasonal Sneak-Air variants, with air-spray shades and non-animal uppers, while the Double Buckle Sneaker proposed, among others, also in the refined Bruciato-colored calfskin variant is dressed in a classic style.

Souvenirs of this journey through the deep connection to the Marche region are the memories imprinted in the three prints, the fil rouge of the entire and elegant new collection: “Cantalupo”, with its rural landscapes and bold earth tones; “Vela”, named after the Portonovo beach of the same name, the cliffs and the vivid colors of the sea; and “Centofinestre”, with its sky full of kites and a deep and enveloping palette.

The sophisticated graphics, the result of Santoni’s craftsmanship, also dress the extensive collection of accessories and leather goods with color and material, which relies on canvas and leather travel bags, inlaid pouches, shoppers with embroidered workmanship and keychains with contrasting colored stitching, a true homage to the Santoni Souvenir Spring-Summer season, to complete the travel experience. All through a palette that seems to tell of soft spring hills, brightly hued flowers, expanses of wheat fields and deep sunsets. A collection of models with incomparable elegance and comfort and intense, nature-inspired hues between Onda blue, Muschio green, Bruciato brown and Sabbia beige by the ever-present Arancio Santoni.
