Dubai Health Authority Launches ‘Dubai In One Day' Health Tourism Initiative at Arab Health 2023

• Several comprehensive health check-up packages are available as part of this initiative.

• Screening time takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the package selected.
• Packages are mainly aimed for the 25 to 50 years age group, to encourage regular health screening and encourage the concept of preventative healthcare.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - January 31, 2023: Dubai Health Authority
(DHA) announced the launch of Dubai In One Day health tourism initiative during the ongoing Arab Health Exhibition and Congress.
The aim of this initiative is to further bolster the health tourism sector in the Emirate and to provide tourists with comprehensive health screening packages that are quick and affordable and are available across a number of private health facilities as part of this unique initiative.
Dr Marwan Al Mulla, CEO of Health Regulation Sector at the DHA said that the aim of this initiative is further bolster Dubai’s position in the health tourism field and to provide tourists with an opportunity to avail of high-quality comprehensive check-ups during their stay in the Emirate.
Al Mulla highlighted that the screening packages are aimed to be convenient, quick, efficient and encourage preventive screening which is critical for early detection of diseases, prevents disease complications and can help in disease prevention especially in the case of several lifestyle diseases.
Mohamed Al Mheiri, Director of Health Tourism Department at the DHA said: that a tourist can conveniently complete his complete medical screening within 2 hours to 6 hours depending on the package selected and that the results are provided within 24 to 48 hours, making it highly effective and convenient for tourists
Tourists can book the service by directly contacting the listed participating facilities.
Al Mheiri said that the packages are mainly tailored for the 25 to 50 age group to encourage preventative screening and tourists can select general health screening or dental and ophthalmology packages that can also be completed in one day, leaving the tourist with time to enjoy tourism activities in the Emirate. We will continue to add more packages under various specialties so that tourists can have more choice.
The participating members include, NMC Healthcare, Zulekha Hospital, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, King's College Hospital London, Aster Hospitals, Oris Dental Clinic, Dubai London Clinic and Specialty Hospital, Moorfields Eye Hospital, Medstar Specialty Centre and Prime Hospital Dubai.
