No limitations to creativity at Thread Painting workshop at SIBF 2022

 In this unique workshop children learn that anyone can make art with paint

An innovative Thread Painting workshop at the 12-day Sharjah International Book Fair is encouraging the young ones to shed their inhibitions and believe that they too can create artistic work. 

Using simple everyday items found in any home, the workshop allows children to use as many colours to do yarn art, as their imagination desires. All they need to do is dip the string of wool in a cup of bright paint, stir it about, press the coloured yarn between two pieces of paper, then s-l-o-w-l-y pull it out to see the abstract image that has been created.

After swapping cups to layer their painting with other colours, children turn excitedly to show their friends what they have just created.

A fun and educational event filled with activities for family members of all age groups, 2,213 publishers from 95 countries are showcasing 1.5 million book titles at SIBF 2022 which comes to an end on November 13 at Expo Centre Sharjah.
