Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 25 October 2021: Dubai comes alive every Diwali and this year is no exception with a host of amazing opportunities to win big across the city. Residents and visitors feeling a bit lucky can choose to take part in one or a selection of the raffles that will be held during the Festival of Lights.
Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has rounded up the most exciting raffles taking place across the city’s malls this Diwali season. From shiny new cars to sparkling jewellery and 24-carat gold on offer, there truly is something for everyone this year.
Dubai isn’t known as the City of Gold for nothing, and it shines extra bright during Diwali. This year the City of Gold Diwali Glow, organised by Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group will see shoppers - who buy jewellery in more than 125 jewellery outlets - have the chance to win AED 150,000 in jewellery vouchers. There will also be a host of Golden Goodies on offer including free gifts upon selected purchases, as well as a 50 per cent discount on select jewellery purchases. The campaign takes place from Thursday, 21 October to Saturday, 6 November.

Visitors and residents can add sparkle to their festive shopping with the Golden Diwali Surprises, organised by Dubai Shopping Malls Group where participants can Shop & Win Gold worth AED 100,000. Anyone who spends AED 200 at participating mall can visit the customer service desk to receive a digital raffle coupon to be entered into a draw. Twenty winners will be drawn and each winner will get 20gms of 24-carat gold worth AED 100,000! Visitors can take part from Thursday, 21 October to Saturday, 6 November.
In partnership with Gargash Motors, shoppers at Ibn Battuta Mall have a chance to win a brand new GAC GS4. For every purchase of AED 200 across all shops, shoppers will be given a ticket to enter the draw to win the car. The promotion will run from 29 October to 13 November.
Dubai Festival City Mall will get into the Diwali spirit with a host of wonderful offers at Ripe By The Bay. One of the city’s most popular night markets, it will offer everything from one-off accessories to street art and vintage clothing. Visitors to Dubai Festival City Mall will also get the chance to win a top-of-the-range Honda Accord EX Turbo 2021! The festivities start on Thursday, 21 October and continue until Saturday, 13 November.
Shoppers who drop by City Centre Al Shindagha will have the chance to win a Citroen C3 car! Visitors who spend AED100 in one of City Centre Shindagha’s array of shops (excluding Carrefour), or AED200 (including Carrefour) are eligible to enter the draw for a brand new Citroen C3. Visitors can download the SHARE app to scan their receipts and try their luck from Thursday, 16 October to Saturday, 13 November.
City Centre Deira is going all out this Diwali, giving everyone who spends AED200 in the mall the chance to win a gold necklace from Jawhara, or 100,000 SHARE Points. Visitors can download the SHARE app to scan their receipts to enter the draw from Thursday, 28 October to Saturday, 6 November.
