An Extended Weekend of Celebrations at the Waterfront Market
The Market will host an Emirati heritage village on the promenade along with other activities in the market's main atrium to mark the UAE's National Day celebrations from December 2nd to December 5th 
 
 
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 26 November 2020:  Dubai's premier fresh food market, the Waterfront Market will celebrate the UAE's 49th National Day this year with a range of activities to mark the occasion as part of its bigger initiative of bringing back safe entertainment to the Market. 
 
The Waterfront Market will be home to a traditional Emirati heritage village allocated on the promenade alongside the gleaming Deira Corniche waterway consisting of five traditional areesh tents. Each tent will offer a different activity stemmed from the local culture, from the Dukkan ‘traditional grocery store' and the gargoor net making, to the fish net weaving, a traditional majlis and live cooking demonstrations of Emirati dishes.
 
The Waterfront Market will also host a range of indoor activities at the market's main atrium ranging from free traditional henna painting and caricature drawing to an entertaining roaming parade and an exciting walking globe act.
 
Expect an entertaining UAE National Day celebration at the Waterfront Market from Wednesday 2nd December to Saturday 5th December, from 2 pm to 10 pm daily.

All customers and staff at the Waterfront Market have to practice social distancing, masks are compulsory whilst gloves are optional. Those who are not wearing the necessary protective gear will not be allowed to enter.
