#StayHome – Samsung Extends Support to UAE Customers

UAE customers to enjoy personalized customer service support for mobiles and tablets from the comfort of their home
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 02, 2020: In line with the UAE government’s #StayHome initiative, Samsung Gulf Electronics is taking further steps to continue serving customers and communities by introducing an exclusive “Pickup & Delivery Repair Service” for Samsung’s mobile and tablet customers across the UAE. The service will run from today and until April 30th and covers all in-warranty and out-of-warranty Samsung mobile phones and tablets, purchased from Samsung authorized retailers in the UAE.
The recent initiative is a demonstration of Samsung’s commitment to serving UAE citizens and residents, and protecting customers and their families, who are increasingly using technology to connect to their workplaces and school.
Kiran Kumar Tewari, Head of Customer Service Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “In line with the UAE government’s #StayHome initiative, Samsung is committed to serving the community to address all our user’s needs during these unprecedented times. The “Pickup & Delivery Repair Service”, is a demonstration of our efforts to minimize any disruption of services extended to customers, and a moral responsibility to elevate our customers’ productivity need as they log in to work and study at home with safe and secure access to our customer service.”
To avail this service, customers should follow these simple steps:
1) Contact Samsung Call Center on 800-SAMSUNG to schedule pick-up appointment
2) Remove your SIM and memory card and back up your data prior to pick-up
3) Samsung team will pick-up the device from the agreed address and get it repair at the Samsung Customer Service Centre
4) Once device repair is complete, the device will undergo complete sanitization and then delivered back to the customer
