Union Coop Pays Tribute to the Martyrs on Commemoration Day'

Retail Pioneer hoists the National Flag at half-mast in all of its branches and business centres to honour the sacrifices of the Martyrs
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 30, 2019: Union Coop, the largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE honored the memory of the Emirati Martyrs on the occasion of ‘commemoration Day’ by hoisting the National flag half-mast in all of its 17 branches and Commercial centres (Etihad Mall and Al Barsha Mall), to honor the sacrifices and dedication of Emiratis who sacrificed their lives for their country.
On the occasion, H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said: “The United Arab Emirates celebrates ‘commemoration Day’ to demonstrate our appreciation and pride towards the sacrifices and dedication of our fallen warriors brethren in order to uphold the National flag and maintaining stability throughout the region and to emphasize the values of loyalty, sacrifice and redemption for the nation as a solid approach derived from our true Islamic religion, and as a leading national institution we pay tribute to our brave martyrs.”
He added: “On this auspicious occasion, on which the entire nation of UAE implies the attributes of heroism and sacrifice, we praise and recognize our brave martyrs, who wrote an immortal chapter of courage and glory.”
In similar context, Union Coop celebrated 48th UAE National Day, under the slogan "Legacy of our ancestors" by reducing the price of UAE manufactured products by 50%, and the promotions will continue until December 10.
