India's premier career education fair coming to UAE

Expo Centre Sharjah to host Career Uttsav Along with IES in Jan 2020
Sharjah, June 27, 2019: Expo Centre Sharjah, the region’s premier exhibition organiser and venue, is set to host one of the biggest higher education and career guidance events of India.
An agreement to organize Career Uttsav, was signed between Mr. Sultan Shattaf, Director Business Development & Marketing, Expo Centre Sharjah and Mr. Sripall D. Jain, Managing Director, K2 Learning Resources India Private Limited, on Thursday 27th June, at Expo Centre Sharjah.”
Career Uttsav, which caters to one of the largest higher education sectors in the world with more than 70 million enrolments, will be held alongside the Middle East’s premier higher education fair -- the International Education Show (IES).
“The UAE and India enjoy special relations. India is the largest trading partner of the UAE, while the UAE is India's third largest trading partner. The comprehensive partnership set in motion by our leaders is having an unprecedented impact in several areas, including the education industry, and I am happy to welcome K2 Learning Resources India to Sharjah and the Middle East,” said H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah, at a press conference held to announce the agreement.
The International Education Show is now in its 16th edition and will be organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the UAE Ministry of Education and Sharjah Private School Authority from January 22 – 24, 2020, at Expo Centre Sharjah.
“The UAE is home to a big Indian diaspora. K2 Learning Resources India will be our partner for India market for International Education Show 2020. I am sure that the extensive experience and expertise of Career Uttsav will help us create one of the largest higher education events in the region that will be a boon not only for the large Indian population here but also others who wish to study in the fastest growing economy in the world,” added H.E. Midfa.
Career Uttsav is one of the biggest higher education fairs in India that is held in multiple cities catering to tens of thousands of students and parents, along with concurrent sessions, seminars, and workshops. During the International Education Show 2020, Career Uttsav will be bringing scores of Indian universities, colleges, other educational institutions and boarding schools.

Jain, Managing Director, K2 Learning Resources India.

With hundreds of universities and thousands of colleges to choose from, there is no limit to what and where a student can study in India. India is considered as the second largest higher education centres in the world and one of the most cost-effective education industries; studying here will be surely a great experience,” added Mr Jain.
The UAE hosts one of the largest Indian expatriate community in the world, comprising more than 3.3 million people. The UAE is also the largest source of remittances to India that amounted to US$13.82 billion in 2017.
The 15th International Education Show 2019 was held at Expo Centre Sharjah from January 30 to February 1, featuring more than 100 educational institutions and attracting 25,000 visitors during its three-day run.
