Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 23 June 2019: HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, is excited to share an update on its partnership with Adobe Lightroom. The companies have worked closely together to further improve the already impressive imaging experience on the Nokia 9 PureView with the introduction of a bespoke Lens Profile specifically for this smartphone.
The new Lens Profile automatically tailors the editing capabilities of Adobe Lightroom to the Nokia 9 PureView, giving you full editorial control over your images directly on your smartphone.
The Nokia 9 PureView is the world’s first five camera array smartphone, heralding the next generation of computational imaging. Each shot captured on the smartphone uses all five cameras at the same time, enabling you to produce images with an outstanding dynamic range and unparalleled depth of field.
Designed with the needs of photography enthusiasts in mind, the Nokia 9 PureView also has the ability to capture images in uncompressed raw DNG format and edit them directly on the phone thanks to HMD Global’s partnership with Adobe Lightroom.
Adobe has incorporated specific characteristics of the Nokia 9 PureView’s camera sensors into the Lightroom software, so it automatically adjusts to the bespoke aspects offered by the five lenses. This enables users to have greater control over their editing ability and provides them with the tools to capture and curate exceptional images.
To access the newly added Nokia 9 PureView Lens Profile, you should visit the Optics panel in your Adobe Lightroom app to enable Lens Profile Corrections. Once turned on, it will automatically select the matching Nokia 9 PureView Lens Profile.
