His Highness Sheikh Saud leads Ras Al Khaimah Government meeting on Industrial Strategy

‘A strategic plan is the basis for sustainable success, and synchronized working across all areas of Government ensures we achieve our objectives’ - His Highness Sheikh Saud 

October 8, 2018, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates:   His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has led a meeting of key industrial entities in Ras Al Khaimah to discuss a long-term strategy for continued growth and job creation in the sector, which currently accounts for 30% of the Emirate’s GDP.  

The Industrial Strategy involves prioritizing 11 sectors based on multiple factors including economic contribution, revenue potential and future proofing Ras Al Khaimah.   

Leaders of key industrial entities in Ras Al Khaimah were present at the meeting, which took place at the desert Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi resort on Sunday. 
His Highness Sheikh Saud said: 

“A strategic plan is the basis for sustainable success, and synchronized working across all areas of Government ensures we achieve our objectives.
We are putting in place a strategy to continue to grow the industrial output of the Emirate over the next decade.”
