“Limited Edition Styles” Spring-Summer 2018

Dubai, UAE, April 29, 2018:  The Spring-Summer 2018 “Limited Edition Styles” collection is a nod to athletic style and sportswear details, as seen through Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian-chic lens. Crafted from technical yet luxurious fabrics, the eight exclusive pieces combine tailored silhouettes with oversized pockets, ribbed textures and drawstring finishes.
 
For elevated everyday wear, the collection features a pleated polo dress, an oversized mesh sweatshirt, and two summery white poplin shirts. Each is embellished with one of this season’s signature details: ribbed cuffs, tubular drawstrings, piped patch pockets or unique collars. The tops can be paired with drawstring shorts or pants, which are both cut from a luxuriously iridescent, metallic fabric.
 
Outerwear includes two effortlessly chic jackets: a cropped, technical weave jacket with a drawstring waist, and a long, fitted jacket with sporty black ribbing on the collar, waistband and cuffs. 
 
A printed booklet of Karl Lagerfeld’s original sketches accompanies each piece. While conceptualising and designing the collection at his iconic Parisian studio, he created the sketches by hand with pastels, crayons and even makeup. Each sketch is a collectable work of art in itself, finished with his trademark red border and signature.
