DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 24 December 2017: The most-awaited event of the city, the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is here and at Boxpark, the offbeat destination by Meraas, the excitement is heating up with spectacular entertainment for the whole family and a spend and win competition to win the latest edition of the Mini Cooper Sprint.
Offering a platform for talented local artists this DSF, groovy street entertainment awaits families and visitors at Boxpark. Busking stations will be set up with live performances from a saxophonist, guitarist, oud player, trombonist, violinist, harpist and much more.
Continuing the bustling street culture at the destination, the streets will also be bursting with performances from flash mob group Musical Waiters, The Batucada Band, who will be bringing a Brazilian percussive style and fresh spin on samba rhythms, as well as Black Square, a creative circus production of acrobats, jugglers, musicians and mimes.
Much to the delight of New Year’s shoppers, visitors spending AED 100 at the unique retail outlets and restaurants offered at the destination will also stand a chance to win a Mini Cooper, Sprint 2018, worth AED 121,000. The raffle draw will take place at the end of the festival. Customers will get double the chance to win during weekdays.
The destination will also be dressed up for the grand celebrations with colourful decorations that radiate vibrant lights and captivating designs to welcome both residents and visitors alike. Ushering in the celebrations that invite families to enjoy an eclectic line-up of fun filled activities.
