HBMSU and Community Development Authority discuss areas of collaboration to push for Dubai's social development

UAE, April 18, 2016– Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) received a high-level delegates from the Community Development Authority headed by Director General H.E Ahmed Jelfar at the university campus to discuss areas of collaboration and future partnerships in matters of common interests. During the meeting, HBMSU representatives also took the opportunity to showcase the university’s smart learning system, online learning platform Cloud Campus, international research works, and academic programs and professional diplomas – all of which have been designed to instill a culture of quality, innovation, excellence, and research in Dubai, the entire UAE, and the Arab world. HBMSU also highlighted its initiatives to achieve the learning objectives of the 21st century, with a special focus on the University’s Lifelong Learning Model (4 Cs).
Dr. Al Awar, said: “Our meeting is another milestone in both our quest to boost the economic and social developments of Dubai and the UAE. It served as an opportunity to discuss various ways to push these developments through education in general and smart learning in particular, as well as tackle the most important measures to further promote excellence, creativity, innovation in local society in the midst of the country’s transition to a knowledge-driven and sustainable economy.”
