Dubai Garden Glow hosts children's musical evenings on weekends

The event partners with Sing & Swing Training Center to celebrate young musical talents

Dubai - April 12, 2017: The Children’s Musical Evenings, hosted at Zabeel Park as part of Dubai Garden Glow, the city’s leading family entertainment destination with a first unique glow theme park in the Middle East, comes back with exciting performances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from the following weekends. 

The first round of the musical fest was performed on April 6 and 7, 2017. The Children’s Musical Evenings event is an effort to promote music amongst children and engage the young visitors creatively at the Zabeel Park. The event provides a great platform for the young talent at Sing & Swing Training Centre, a member of Thomsun Group. 

The children performing at the Musical Evenings are aged between 6 and 15 years and have lined up some great performances that include piano, drums, vocals, ballet and many more. 

Commenting on this, Ms. Chanchal Samantha, Director of Dubai Garden Glow, said, “We are happy to host the Children’s Musical Evenings at Zabeel Park along with the Dubai Garden Glow show. Music and sports are two great forms of expression and every child should be exposed to both. We are extremely happy to partner with Sing & Swing and provide a platform for the young talent to sing, dance and play in the beautiful, natural surroundings.”

“We have always believed in children and family focused activities and look forward to hosting these amazingly talented children to showcase and explore their talent. The activities coincide with the term break at schools and we would like to encourage parents to bring in their children and soak up the musical ambience,” she added. 

“Music is one of the biggest educative hobbies amongst school children in the UAE and Dubai Garden Glow would like to encourage and celebrate the young musical talents. Thomsun Institute will also offer free demo classes to those interested in music. The musical fest will be held at the stage arena and people visiting the park can now sit, relax and enjoy the music with some great barbecue in this beautiful weather.” 

The primary focus for Dubai Garden Glow has always been family-centric events. Parks and outdoors are the greatest source of entertainment for families living in or visiting Dubai, especially in the cooler months. The response from children has been overwhelming this season and we would like to further engage with the children though the series of music concerts. 

Zabeel Park has hosted a series of activities since the launch of Dubai Garden Glow last year and continues to attract thousands of families every week, especially engaging with based community events - starting with Christmas Carol to the Barbeque Festival to even organizing educational tours and picnics for students and families respectively. 

Dubai Garden Glow’s vision is to create a series of community events to being families closer as community in the perfect outdoor environment and what better platform than music to get people together.
