Spread the Joy with Special Festive Celebrations at The Mall at Worlds Trade Center Abu Dhabi

• Lighting the Christmas Tree’ ceremony  on 16 December

Abu Dhabi, 13 December 2016:  The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi (The Mall at WTCAD), the modern shopping destination located at the heart of Abu Dhabi, is inviting friends and families to get together to celebrate this special festive period with  spectacular carol singing, a tree lighting ceremony, and the carnival of Santa Clause.

Starting the festivities is the ‘Lighting the Christmas Tree’ ceremony from 5:45pm – 9:00pm on 16th December, guests will gather around the Christmas tree. As the astonishing lights are turned on, The Mall at WTCAD will merge both cultures with traditional carols sung accompanied by a performance by the viral sensation Lebanese musician star Maan Hamdeh. 

Designed to spread community cheer for the festive period the whole mall will be transformed into a winter wonderland with ginger bread houses, candy canes and festive characters dotted around. 

From 5:00pm – 10:00pm on 17th-24th December, for the younger visitors eager to meet Santa’s Grotto as children are invited to whisper their festive wish list to Santa and will receive a wonderful gift, regardless of whether they’ve been naughty or nice.

For two days, from 5:00pm – 10:00pm on 22-23rd  December, The Mall at WTCAD will host daily incredible performances of children’s favourite fairy tale, “Cinderella on Ice”. This incredible story, with the mix of fantasy and fun, is the ideal way of dazzling and entertaining its younger guests as they are invited on a journey with Cinderella and Prince Charming to defeat the evil stepmother, the Ice Queen, and her minions to break the spell on the whole town.
