Yas Mall celebrates UAE's 45th National Day with exciting activities and a first indoor walkathon for the whole family

Abu Dhabi, 27 November 2016:  In celebration of the UAE’s 45th National Day, Yas Mall, will be offering its visitors ten days of wonder and excitement through a stellar lineup of activities for locals and tourists from across the region.

A unique array of activities will be hosted from December 1st-3rd, including a collection of vintage photographs of the UAE’s rulers, as well as an outstanding painting of the nation’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan by artist Sheikh Saifi, a professional artist and calligrapher in the UAE.

For those fitness gurus, Yas Mall is encouraging all family members to get in shape, with a series of fitness classes offered at Town Square, where visitors can prepare for a family walkathon while enjoying a health-focused shopping experience. The Walkathon will kick off at Yas Mall at 8.00am on the 2nd of December where participants can register for free on Yas Mall website www.yasmall.ae or through Yas Mall Facebook page www.facebook.com/yasmallad.

A line up of traditional dances, falcon shows, and henna stations will be spotted around Town Square, giving tourists and locals alike a taste of the favourite traditional pastimes of this great country. 

In collaboration with Khalifa Fund, Yas Mall will be offering an Emirati Market showcasing the very best products of our local entrepreneurs from the 1st to 7th of December. The list of exhibitors participating are the following: Nail Ink, Qawarir Coffee, Fifty Seven Boutique Café, Minbart Concept Store, Yummy Waffle Café, Zaman Al Jameel, Pioneer Vending, Chop’t Salad, Crafty Cottage, Jswair, Stick Candy, and Heritage for Henna. The best seller business of Khalifa fund will be granted a free space to sell their products at the mall for up to 6 months, as part of Yas Mall’s incentive programme.
