Summer has arrived in the city at Dubai Festival City Mall with an array of fun indoor activities to keep you cool and chilled this season.

Dubai Festival City Mall is marking Dubai Summer Surprises with an exciting variety of activities, events and promotions – giving all visitors the chance to win weekly prizes
Dubai, UAE, July 21, 2016: With the weather hotting up, Dubai Festival City Mall is welcoming visitors to come and escape the heat to enjoy a cool Summer in the City. With a raft of family-themed entertainment designed to bring outdoor activities inside, the mall is set to be a buzzing summer haven, with a host of prizes available to win each day. With events taking place until the 20th of August, Dubai Festival City Mall holds in store many Dubai Summer Surprises for its visitors, including the chance to win a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and weekly prizes from some of the mall’s newly opened stores like American Brasserie, Sugar Factory.
Recreating some of the most popular activities that are usually enjoyed outdoors, Dubai Festival City Mall has built three themed indoor zones to simulate typical Dubai beaches, parks and outdoor sports areas – allowing visitors to still participate in their favourite activities in the cool mall. These three zones will contain various spaces and interactive workshops for adults and children alike, which include sand art, treats from Häagen-Dazs, Fitness First fitness classes, and kids’ workshops, as well as photo booths to allow guests to capture their experience and take away a souvenir.
“Our aim is to create a haven for families during the hot summer months, so we have hand-picked the best of Dubai’s outdoor fun and brought it together under one roof for people of all ages to enjoy. As an exciting addition to the roster of Dubai Summer Surprises and retail offerings, Dubai FestivalCity Mall is hosting a ‘spend and win’ competition starting from the 20th of July until the 20th of August, giving customers a chance to win a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. “Not only can our visitors enjoy our wide-ranging summer entertainment programme, but one lucky winner will get a chance to win a brand new 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport Edition, said Steven Cleaver, Director – Shopping Malls, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.
This summer, visitors can also expect to see some exciting exhibitions and interactive experiences for the whole family can enjoy including Angry Birds (from 10 – 19 July).

Dubai Festival City Mall has transformed Angry Birds from the small screen to a larger than life interactive experience that the whole family can enjoy with their brand new game “Splat That!” This exciting interactive game gives participants the chance to deal with life's daily niggles in a unique way!
In their new happier state of mind, participants will then have the chance to meet a larger than-life Angry Bird – and get their photo taken with Red, Chuck or Bomb at selected times during the day.
