The Gruffalo regales little ones at The Dubai Mall

Dubai, UAE, July 14, 2016:  As part of the Dubai Summer Surprises, The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest retail and entertainment destination, regaled the little ones by hosting The Gruffalo.  

The much-loved and iconic children’s book comes to life at the mall through July 17, with two special activity areas in the mall, providing lots of fun and entertainment for its youngest visitors.

Organised in collaboration with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), The Dubai Mall is hosting The Gruffalo Trail at the Souk Atrium, where children get to explore their way through a pop-up forest to try and locate statues of characters from the book with the help of a map. They receive a stamp for each statue they discover.  

They can then proceed to the Star Atrium to enjoy a specially-themed ‘Gruffalo Activity Zone’. Readings from the book are held every day in addition to an arts and crafts corner to nurture the creative skills of the little ones. 

This includes arts and crafts areas and a story corner where The Gruffalo story will be read every day. Here, they also come face-to-face with The Gruffalo for a memorable photo opportunity.
