Dubai Culture carries out Educational Workshop to Implementthe Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System

The Authority reaffirms its readiness to implement the new system to enhance daily operations

Dubai, UAE, June 6, 2016: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), recently organised an educational workshop dedicated to work towards both understanding and implementationof the Fourth Generation of the Government Excellence System. This is in line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s vision to Excellencyin all governmentwork.

The workshop was attended by His Excellency Saeed AlNabouda, Acting Director General of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, in addition to anumber of representatives of Dubai CultureDepartments including Strategy Department and Corporate Performance. They were joined by the assigned Excellence Teams responsible forof the implementation of the Fourth Generation of Government Excellence System in the Emirate of Dubai.

Through this work Dubai Culture reaffirms its commitment to endeavour towards high standards in its financial, administrative and financial services systems, and to link these with innovation and creativity in performance according to the general direction of the Government of Dubai and its future goals. The Authority is also keen to lay the groundwork for a smooth implementation of the new government excellence system. 

Acting Director General of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, His Excellency Saeed AlNabouda, said: “Dubai Culture is keen to align with the development vision of the Government of Dubai. Followingguidelines from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, we are targeting performanceimprovements of government entitieswith aspirations to reach the very top of amongst global best practicesthrough the implementation of the Fourth Generation of the Government ExcellenceSystem, we are ensuring we apply a unique and forward-thinking system, which is and transition to a new phase of enhanced performance.”

AlNabouda added: “we aim for Dubai Culture to be amongst the foremost government entitypioneers through ourimplementation of the new fourth generation of government excellence system. Our staff across all levels aspire toexceed expectations and utilise this advanced system with Dubai Culture’s programmes aimed at enhancing and enriching the culture and heritageof Dubai.”

During the workshop,thedetails of procedures and actions to be implemented in the next stage were explained, as well as the overarching indicators and standards related to the fourth generation of excellence

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has achieved earlier the prestigious recognition winning the second position at the 19th edition of Dubai Government Excellence Awards 2016 on Best Improved Performance category. The awards programme aimed to showcase thecontinuous improved and enhanced government entities’ performance through self-assessment mechanisms and accordingly to international best practices.
In doing so, the Authority can move forward to advanced stages in excellence and leadership, which will reflect positively on the satisfaction of target groups,ensuring they gain quality services that are befitting of a modern, forward-thinking pre-eminent global city such as Dubai.
