EMCON and Western Furniture Goes Live With Epicor ERP

United Arab Emirates, February 01, 2016- Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced that two well-established companies based in the UAE have successfully deployed the next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution -- Epicor ERP -- in a bid to efficiently manage their key administrative and operational processes.

Index InfoTech, an authorized Epicor value added reseller and a member of the Epicor Inspired Partner Network in the UAE has successfully implemented Epicor ERP at EMCON and Western Furniture.  

EMCON (Emirates Concrete Products), one of the country’s leading concrete block manufacturers, and Western Furniture, a leading retailer of medium- to high-quality furniture, selected Epicor ERP for their respective business operations due to its customizable and scalable features. EMCON has rolled out the software across its offices in the UAE and Qatar, while Western Furniture has implemented the fully integrated solution in its Dubai and Abu Dhabi headquarters. 

EMCON is a subsidiary of Al Shola Transport LLC, with expertise in paintings, special coatings, guniting and construction of swimming pools. “We were looking for a leading ERP solution built on the latest technology to help us streamline our workflow and procedures in accordance with our commitment to deliver excellent services to our customers,” said Sarthak Patel, operations director for EMCON. “Epicor ERP fits our requirements and needs given its flexibility and scalability, prompting us to collaborate with Epicor for a full deployment of the system.
