New Xperia Z5 series features prominently in the region’s rising star boyband latest music video “Bel Gharam”
Dubai, UAE, January 13, 2016: Hot on the trail of their previous success, “El Donia Shabab”, X-Factor’s finalists, THE5, have just released their new hit single “Bel Gharam”. The hit’s slick and irresistible music video features prominently Sony Mobile’s top of range Xperia Z5 smartphones.
Making use of Sony’s most recent technology advances, the Xperia smartphones are an integral part of the video’s extremely creative narrative, with each member of The5 taking them in turns through their routine. Scenes of a Sony PS4 game highlight in a most striking way the Xperia smartphone’s ability to take over through its remote play feature. Other segments focus on the Xperia’s power button, whose integrated sensor unlocks the mobile, while the band and fans snap pictures and selfies using the Xperia Z5 autofocus technology whose speed is unmatchable.
“Our move stems from Sony Mobile’s objective to support regional youth and develop their talents”, declared Gita Ghaemmaghami, Sony Mobile’s Marketing Communications Manager MEA. “We truly believe that this band, which includes five young talents (artists) from Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria and Morocco, has an extremely bright future. As part of Sony Mobile’s social responsibility in the region, we are keen on developing young talent and aim at providing them with the necessary support through our advanced technology”.
Sony Mobile has previously collaborated with several Arab artists, among them the leading female performer in Egypt, Angham. This follows Sony Mobile’s commitment to the Middle East, using its state of the art Xperia smartphones to open up new horizons, enabling users to push the boundaries of their talents through leading-edge technology.
