Dubai, January 6, 2016: A Serbian delegation led by H.E. Milos Perisic, Charge d’affaires, Embassy of Republic of Serbia, recently visited Emirates Post Group (EPG) head office to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation.
The delegation held discussions with EPG Acting CEO, Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, on different areas of potential cooperation and were briefed on EPG vision of becoming one of the world’s leading postal corporations.
They also held a meeting with Emirates Post CEO, Mr. Abdullah Alasham, who briefed them on EPG services and products, both postal and non-postal, and identified potential areas of cooperation. The discussion covered exchange of expertise and issuing of a joint stamp between Serbia and UAE, among other topics.
“As a leading postal corporation in the region, Emirates Post Group is committed to building strong relations with all countries of the world,” commented Al Hosani. “We had a fruitful meeting with the Serbian delegation and held wide ranging talks on mutual cooperation. Based on this meeting, we will identify some key areas in which we can cooperate.”
“The meeting was part of Emirates Post’s constant efforts to establish ties with different countries, especially in postal matters. We feel there is excellent potential for boosting relations between Serbia and UAE, following this visit,” said EPG Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam.
H.E. Milos Perisic and his delegation showed keen interest in EPG services and expressed their willingness in taking the relationship further, as part of building stronger bilateral relations.
The two sides agreed to follow up on the topics raised in the preliminary meeting and draw up concrete plans for cooperation and joint products.
