Department of Economic Development in Ajman Launches new set of Measures to Support and Develop Economic Activity in the Emirate

Department working to create an ideal business environment for investors and businessmen in the emirate of Ajman

Ajman, United Arab Emirates: The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (DED Ajman) has launched a range of new measures aimed at supporting and developing economic activity in the Emirate of Ajman, in implementation of the Ajman Vision 2021 launched by HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Crown Prince, Chairman of the Executive Council, calling for efficiency and excellence ill n a governmental work in within the emirate of Ajman.

The new measures include a reduction in the value of all service fees at the Department of Economic Development, as well as a reduction in the value of fines and violation fees owed by owners of economic establishments.

Furthermore, the department is currently implementing an awareness campaign through a number of promotional ads to educate customers, who can now pay for all DED services using their credit cards or e-dirham.

DED Ajman is focused in providing an effective and seamless working business environment, while achieving social wellbeing. Through these measures, the DED seeks to achieve the highest quality standards in government services, provide special services for the department's customers to ensure their satisfaction, and help facilitate the completion of procedures and transactions related to their economic activity, thus accelerate and support the process of comprehensive development in Ajman.

These new services by Department of Economic Development in represents a qualitative leap in customer service in the emirate. These services will facilitate the completion of transactions quickly and easily, and will be available around the clock, also through the department's website available in Arabic and English.

The Department of Economic Development in Ajman, through its plans, activities, and the adoption of best practices and technological applications, aims to achieve the strategic goals of the Government of the Emirate of Ajman, by enhancing the emirate's competitive capacity at the business environment level.
