Group aims to improve employee productivity through more personalized experience
Dubai, UAE – 28 December 2015: Private equity and investment group, Khaleefa Butti Bin Omair (KBBO) today announced the deployment of Oracle Fusion ERP in the Oracle public cloud. The new systems are expected to manage the Group’s accounting, payroll, procurement and HR with the objective of enhancing employee engagement by providing personalized applications.
Prior to the Oracle implementation, businesses within the Group had different systems and technology in place. Khaleefa Butti Bin Omair Group is one of the early adopters of the complete suite of Fusion ERP in the cloud in the Middle East.
Historically, KBBO operated on multiple accounting systems which presented an opportunity for process improvements. These included standardizing and consolidating functions and at the same time minimizing manual processes that hindered the efficiency of the business. There was also a need for real-time information, presentation and reporting. The Group implemented Fusion Cloud ERP on the cloud with included Fusion Financials, Fusion Procurement and Fusion Human Capital Management.
Oracle Fusion ERP allows all of the financial processes information to be captured and consolidated into one system and standardized across of the companies within the group. The technology enables accurate reporting of information in real-time with limited requirements for manual preparation and can be viewed on a mobile device.
The implementation empowers staff with productive and intuitive self-service applications for managing their work and time from any location. As a result, training time is minimized and is a boost to the efficiency of day-to-day tasks; employee productivity is increased and errors are significantly reduced, supporting better cross departmental collaboration.
“After careful evaluation of our objectives and business plans over the next three to five years, we decided that Oracle’s Fusion ERP would help to drive the business forward and provide us with a ‘lean IT’ infrastructure,” said Samir Mayani, IT Director at Khaleefa Butti Bin Omair Group.
“As part of our ongoing strategy to leverage the cloud we looked to move our entire suite of core applications. With Fusion’s single user interface, our skilled workforce is able to be more productive and as a result remain engaged. Even after only a short time using the solution, we have been able to demonstrate its capabilities and the positive impact it has on the business and our workforce.”
Swami Natarajan, Oracle SaaS Strategy and Sales Leader added: “Khaleefa Butti Bin Omair Group stands out in its adoption of a complete suite in the cloud, applied across their different companies in several countries in just six months. In this way the full benefits of a cloud implementation can be reaped – rapid implementation, an easy and intuitive user experience, multi-device access. At the same time the system supports good business governance. Oracle Fusion provides a new standard for business by always ensuring best practice in a flexible and productive way.”
The successful implementation and on-going proactive support is managed by partner, Hexaware.
