The theme of the visit was ‘Emirati heritage’ focused on highlighting the unique characteristics of the life of UAE people. The EPG team, which included volunteer employees, conversed with the residents, listened to their talk, presented them with gifts and organized heritage activities. Abeer Al Dabbah, CEO of Creative Advisory Consultants, conducted a heritage competition and presented gifts to the residents.
Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group, Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, said the visit was part of EPG’s commitment to humanitarian issues and boosting interaction with different segments of society, especially the elderly who during their young days must have contributed immensely to society and the nation.
Mr. Bin Karam added that Emirates Group was keen to motivate the staff to engage in voluntary work, and to contribute to humanitarian activities which form a fundamental pillar of the group's vision and strategy.
The EPG team toured the different sections of the center, and viewed the health and therapeutic services provided to the elderly.
