Dubai Courts issues document bearing its strategic vision for 2016-2019 in the presence of Consultation Board

UAE, 20 December, 2015- Dubai Courts issued today (Sunday 20 December) a new document bearing its strategic vision for 2016-2019 in the presence of the members of the Consultation Board. The newly-released document includes Dubai Courts’ vision towards promoting the courts position as a global leader in serving quick and accurate justice while also providing users with easy access to judicial services, which in turn helps in promoting justice, independence, transparency, innovation and teamwork values. The document also defines Dubai Courts’ strategic goals in promoting the local judiciary across the global judicial arena by developing a highly efficient Case Management System, quicker rendering of judicial decisions and improving customer service—particularly across the creation of world class procedures, services and standards that also seeks to enhance the skills and capabilities of its human resources.
The strategic document focusses on many trends, including the importance of improving technical, economical, legal and social environments in the UAE, especially in Dubai. Also in focus is the move to develop and implement initiatives and programs that comply and conform to the government’s vision and strategies. The strategy for 2016-2019 also showcases the need to improve the local judicial system, which can result in a wider reach and play a key role in solving business-related cases like contract validity and insolvency.
Moreover, the released document also looks towards exploring the importance of the judiciary’s role of building a safe community that is just and full of happiness. It also dwells on the development of key services that will also play a big role in ensuring the emirate’s success in hosting World Expo 2020, while also complementing efforts to achieve UAE Vision 2021.
His Excellency Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Director General, Dubai Courts, said, “In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to be the best in all industry segments and specializations all over the world, Dubai Courts has released its strategic vision for 2016-2019. Specifically, this vision aims to complement the efforts to transform Dubai as one of the leading Smart cities in the world—utilizing the most advanced smart tools. The vision also aims to act as a roadmap towards development, focusing on creating a sound and safe economical, legal, and social environment. We acknowledge the strong support and assistance of all who have contributed in preparing this document.”
Meanwhile, Judge Abdul Kader Musa, Deputy Director, Dubai Courts, said, “This strategic vision looks towards achieving set goals and performance indicators that are based on world class standards, studies and research.
