Sophos (LSE: SOPH), a global leader in network and endpoint security, today announced its Middle East roadshow. Dubbed “Discover Sophos Roadshow”, this tour shall connect with over 150+ key partners across Middle East as it moves through different countries. Having concluded its series of Africa partner tours, Sophos is set to launch Middle East edition of “Discover Sophos” roadshow with Turkey on 16th of December 2015, to be followed by events in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and finally culminating in UAE during January 2016. With this tour, Sophos will address over150 existing and potential channel resellers, independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators (SIs) and technology partners who market, develop, sell and implement Sophos security solutions in the region. Among new opportunities and channel initiatives, the roadshow aims to launch full range of Sophos security products and educate partners on next generation of end-user, network and server protection solutions.
Middle East partner roadshow comes close on the heels of recent launch of Synchronized Security, which made Sophos the first security company to link Network and Endpoint products.By Automating threat discovery, investigation, and response, Synchronized Security revolutionizes threat detection. Incident response times are reduced exponentially and tactical resources can be refocused on strategic analysis. Partners in Middle East now have access to these revolutionary security solutions from Sophos that include firewall, end-user protection, data security, mobile security and server protection. Following its successful integration with Cyberoam, Sophos has begun making rapid strides, strengthening its reach while augmenting expansion in the region.
“Discover Partner Roadshow is an important and exciting component to introduce new opportunities to our partners, and it also lets them engage with Sophos executives at regional and local level, providing better insights into the ongoing regional deployment of Sophos partner program and security technologies,” said Harish Chib, VP MEA, Sophos. “Our Middle East partners have remained instrumental in making us a leading security vendor, expanding our reach across verticals. This roadshow shall catalyse exciting new opportunities and partner enablement initiatives, expediting transition from product-centric selling to integrated security solution selling, thus strengthening value proposition for partners.”
Middle East is witnessing tremendous amount of activities and rapid adoption of information technology deployments, including initial build-up of smart-city projects and IoT initiatives. On the other hand, continued scare of cyber-perils add to security and data privacy concerns. Ever-increasing connectivity and digitization of the Middle Eastern countries poses new security challenges, requiring robust answers and proven-in-the-field security expertise.
Sophos' products allow users to secure every end point of their network, from laptops to virtual desktops and servers, to web and email traffic and mobile devices. The company is the only vendor that’s placed as a leader in UTM, Endpoint and Mobile Data Protection magic quadrants of a leading global analyst, which holds testimony to its proven consistency in product delivery, and a mature vision for the technology.
The roadshow shall also announce several partner enablement initiatives including skills development, training and certification programs and incentives for growth.
