Twenty new Andalusian-inspired townhouses open for tenants in Al Wasl Road area
Dubai, UAE, June 3, 2015 – wasl properties, a leading Dubai property management and development company and a subsidiary of wasl Asset Management Group, has announced the launch of the first set of villas in its dar wasl project. The 20 four-bedroom units form part of the AED 500 million Moroccan architecture-inspired development which is located close to Safa Park on Al Wasl Road. Spread over a total area of 60,000 square feet, dar wasl includes a host of premium quality facilities.
“dar wasl represents a new, high-end lifestyle concept that blends the charm of Andalusian heritage with the highest quality modern amenities. The development has been designed to celebrate the authenticity of the city of Dubai through the provision of the very best facilities and services," said Zainab Mohamed, CEO Property Management, and Marketing, wasl properties.
dar wasl comprises 166 four and five-bedroom villas - each with a maid's room and some with a swimming pool - and 112 two and three-bedroom apartments, with the three-bedroom units also including a maid’s room. The 20 four-bedroom units forming the first stage are being made available to tenants exclusively through the wasl Customer Service Centre located in the company’s wasl vita project in Jumeirah 1, with the entire development expected to be completed by December this year.
dar wasl is sited in close proximity to Safa Park, with schools, hospitals, supermarkets and leisure centres located in its neighbourhood. The development itself features 108 units for commercial applications, ranging in size from 214 to 1,056 square feet. Of these, 87 units will be dedicated to retail; including supermarkets, fashion outlets, nail spas and laundry services, while 21 will be allocated for restaurants and cafes. dar wasl’s retail centre is expected to fully open by March of next year, providing residents with a full array of options right on their doorstep and acting as a magnet for visitors from outside of the area.
"We had a number of important considerations when planning for dar wasl, including ensuring that we added to the aesthetic value of the area by incorporating unique geometric architecture for the development. This was balanced with our commitment to providing multiple options for those wishing to live in the district and creating opportunities for the city’s business sector with premium retail space,” added Zainab.
“The result of our careful planning and construction has been a mixed-use architectural masterpiece that significantly enhances wasl properties’ real estate portfolio. dar wasl contributes substantially to our growth and to our long-term strategy of supporting Dubai government’s vision for the development of the emirate and its drive to make the city one of the most popular destinations on the global stage; one that is a first-choice for tourists, visitors and residents by 2021,” she continued.
Among the other facilities at dar wasl designed to maximise comfort and convenience are dedicated parking in its basement floor, a health club, swimming pool, gym and children's playground. The gated community has 24-hour security, ensuring the highest degree of peace of mind for residents.
