Build-A-Bear Workshop® opens its first community mall store at Arabian Centre
Build-A-Bear Workshop®, the world’s only global company that offers an interactive make-your-own stuffed animal retail-entertainment experience, opened its doors to its newest location in the Gulf Region on 5th of May at The Arabian Center Shopping Mall, a Mirdif - based mall managed by The LALSs Group located on Al Khawaneej Road, Mirdif. This opening marks the 7th Store for Build-A-Bear Workshop, with stores already in The Dubai Mall, Dubai Festival City, YAS Mall and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain City Centre and The Avenues Kuwait.
Build-A-Bear Workshop®, General Manager Paul Marks, said “We have chosen our first location for 2015 very carefully because we want to broaden our store base beyond the usual “mega-malls” and out into the community and Arabian Centre fits that category perfectly and will be our first such venture”
The Mall which is surrounded by six schools and local communities such as Al Mizhar and Mirdif has a loyal local customer base and an excellent mixture of retail, F&B, financial and other ancillary services such as a medical centre, banks and travel agents and this makes it a true community mall. “Only Build-A-Bear empowers kids of all ages to express themselves through products, services and experiences that enable them to (re)discover and celebrate the love of childhood and doing it with Mum and Dad re-enforces the experience.
Our success in Kuwait shows that local families love our brand”. Marks added “2015 will be an exciting year for the Build-A-Bear family with this new addition and the two upcoming new store openings across the region in Qatar and Kuwait”
