Heavy equipment machines take on the toughest cleaning challenges in the construction sector
(Qatar, 30 April 2015) – Karcher Middle East will take part in this year’s Project Qatar, the 12th instalment of the International Construction Technology & Building Materials Exhibition, to be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from May 4 to 7, 2015.
Karcher, the world leader in innovative cleaning technology solutions, will showcase 10 of its industrial-grade compact scrubber driers, cold and hot water high-pressure cleaners, vacuum sweepers and wet and dry vacuum cleaners during the event, which is dubbed as the “most important exhibition for highlighting the latest products and services for Qatar’s fast-growing construction sector”.
“Qatar is one of the most significant markets for Karcher in the Middle East region. Our sales performance in the country has been bullish as it grows at a double-digit pace annually. As a result, we opened early this year a dedicated Karcher Centre in Doha, which serves as a sales outlet and customer service centre, providing after-sales service, repairs and maintenance of both our professional, as well as home and garden products,” said Richard Nouira the Managing Director of Karcher Middle East.
He added: “We are glad to participate once again in Project Qatar, which has grown in importance over the years as the Gulf country’s construction sector gathers momentum.”
As of April 2014, the value of projects planned or underway in the oil-rich nation has been estimated at USD276 billion, making the country the third-biggest construction market in the GCC region.
Among the technologically advanced machines that Karcher will present at Project Qatar is the BR 35/12, a compact floor scrubber drier that features the Karcher Advanced Response Technology (KART) steering concept, which provides outstanding manoeuvrability. In 2014, Karcher’s BR 35/12 was nominated for the 2014 ISSA Innovation Award Program. ISSA is the leading trade association for the cleaning industry worldwide.
The Karcher stand will be located at hall 4, stand E49 of the QNCC.
