Newly launched development hosted packed programme of activities for tenants and visitors
[Dubai, UAE, April, 2015] - A packed programme of free entertainment and activities was on the cards for parents and their young ones this month at wasl vita. The recently launched development - a premium residential and retail mall project from real estate organisation wasl properties - hosted a special day for families as part of the company’s commitment to the communities it serves.
“wasl properties is delighted to be able to offer a free family day for its tenants and for visitors at wasl vita, wasl properties’ newly launched development on Al Wasl Road. As one of the leading providers of real estate in the UAE, wasl properties is at the heart of the nation and firmly believes its services should go beyond the mere provision of quality housing and include important community activations,” said Zainab Mohammed, CEO, Property Management & Marketing, wasl properties.
As expected, the main focus at the wasl vita fun day was on children’s entertainment. A dedicated Kids’ Area, which held around 40 children at a time, was set-up of mini tables, chairs and bean bags. Among the activities on offer at its craft corner was a jewelry box designing for girls and superhero mask creation for boys. There was also puppet decoration, ceramic painting and colouring activities, with all of the workshops supervised by trained children’s staff.
The fun continued outside the Kids’ Area, with a giant Jenga game and more colouring activities that took place around the wasl vita mall. There was also a roaming magician, puppet show, clown balloon bender, face painting and mascots that kept children entertained; including favourite characters Tom and Jerry and a Smurf and Smurfette.
Keeping the fun alive and providing an entertaining aural backdrop to the proceedings were the musicians, including a flautist, and DJs who pumped out up-beat tunes to get everyone into the party spirit and created an uplifting atmosphere.
Those who wished to create a permanent record of the day and share it with others made the most of an Instagram Selfie Vending Machine, which was located at the wasl vita mall entrance. Any visitor who took a photo at the event and posted it on Instagram using the hashtag ‘#waslvitaFDphoto’ received a free print out of their image.
The wasl vita fun day pulled in a large number of tenants and visitors, not least because of the stilt walkers who were outside the development’s entrance with sign boards to attract people from the passing crowd. While little ones who were enticed by all the children’s activities on offer, mums and dads appreciated the event’s retailer engagement initiative that saw a number of stalls set up by food and beverage retailers featuring free-to-try sample items from their menus.
“wasl properties is committed to providing the very best lifestyles for it tenants and for visitors who use its amenities. An important part of our operations is concerned with supporting the neighbourhoods we create through regular activities, such as fun days for families. These events bind communities together, create a sense of belonging and enrich our society,” added Ms. Mohammed.
wasl vita is the latest development from wasl properties that forms part of the real estate organisation’s corporate strategy to regenerate and develop key areas of Dubai. Located on Al Wasl Road area in Jumeirah, wasl vita offers a blend of mixed-use residential and commercial property that is aimed at complementing the busy thoroughfare with its unique feature of Californian architecture housing modern amenities.
