ARUSHI MADAN, an inspirational teen , wins another award “Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence”

Arushi Madan ,  student of Delhi Private School – Sharjah won Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence for the academic year 2014-2015. This award is instituted at the UAE National Level by the Sharjah Ruler Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi for recognizing outstanding achievers in academics and co-curricular activities, with specific thrust on leadership and innovation.

The award was presented to her by Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah: HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi in a glittering ceremony held at University City hall, Sharjah on Thursday, 23rd April 2015.  The award consists of a cash award and memento along with certificate. Various Ministers and other dignitaries were also present during the occasion.

Arushi Madan says “ This year has been outstanding for our school as 9 students from our school DPS-Sharjah won this award. I am proud being a student of Delhi Private School-Sharjah which not only strengthens our academic knowledge but also emphasizes on our holistic development to mould us into all rounded personalities which eventually helps us in getting such awards “

She was also the winner of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the distinguished student for the year 2012-2013. Arushi recently won International Diana award for her selfless contribution towards society , community and environment and was given certificate signed by British Prime Minister David Cameron. Arushi is also going to be the youngest key note speaker out of the 7 influential and high profile speakers at the First Annual International Women’s Peak Performance Summit to be held on 23rd May in Abu Dhabi,UAE.
