Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha collaborates with the Servis 3rd HUM AWARDS 2015 in DUBAI as Official Hospitality Partner

HUM Network held its most anticipated and glamorous award show; The Servis 3rd HUM Awards 2015 partnered with Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha on April 9, 2015 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre as part of celebrations for HUM’s 10 years in the entertainment industry and its success globally. This is the first time that the awards took place in Dubai and outside Pakistan, since its inception in 2013. In attendance were Dubai’s entertainment elite as well as the crème de la crème of Pakistan’s entertainment and fashion industries, who were present to witness the celebration of HUM’s success.

The biggest names in Pakistani entertainment proudly walked the red carpet and received various awards for music, fashion and television. Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha was honoured to accommodate all the stars for the event.

Servis 3rd HUM Awards this year was bigger, better and more glamorous than its previous editions and featured on-stage performances by ace actors and heartthrobs of Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Ahsan Khan, Sabah Qamar, Mehwish Hayat, Sajjal Ali and Shehroze and Saira Sabzwari.  One of the highlights was a surprise performance from the Indian singing star Sunidhi Chauhan who mesmerized everyone with her hit songs as well as a Pakistani number. Apart from Pakistan performers, the ceremony showcased international acts as well.

After the awards ceremony, the artists dined at the award-winning Gharana restaurant to celebrate their accomplishment.

The award show also included special segments to honour all those who have played a vital role in shaping the entertainment landscape of Pakistan. The awards ceremony featured a combination of viewers’ choice awards and categories selected by a panel of judges, comprising some of the finest names from the Pakistani entertainment industry. Besides acknowledging talent in the drama, music and fashion industry, the 3rd Hum Awards ceremony gave a fair share of reward to the veterans whose contribution to Pakistani entertainment industry is enormous. Sufi queen Abida Parveen was bestowed with the prestigious ‘Excellence in Music Award’ by the CEO of HUM Network Mr. Duraid Qureshi. Another major step that these awards have taken is introducing a new category HUM TV Short Films/Videos, Middle East to strengthen ties between Pakistan and the Middle East. For this category producers from the Middle East were invited to submit their entries in any language of their choice. The event received over 20 entries and most of the producers were present at the ceremony.
