Ajman University to graduate 2320 students as “Class of the Year of Innovation” in October

For the graduation of its Class of 2015, Ajman University of Science & Technology has announced that its 24th batch will be named “Class of the Year of Innovation”. This comes in line with the announcement made earlier this year by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates, May Allah protect him, declaring 2015 as the year of innovation to create a conducive environment to make UAE the world class hub of innovation.
Osama Saeed Salman, Vice-President of Ajman University, explained that the wise leadership of this country believes in our national human capital and provides with all the incentives and support needed by our national human resources to ensure sustainable and sustained growth and development. “We, at Ajman University, think that being a national institution with a mission to teach, train and research, we bear the responsibility to carry forth this initiative. Since its inception, Ajman University has been instilling the values of innovation and excellence in its students”, he said.
The Vice-President also announced that the commencement ceremonies for the academic year 2014-2015 will be held on 20 and 21 October 2015 in Ajman campus for male and female students respectively. While in Fujairah Campus, male and female students will celebrate their commencement on 27 and 28 October 2015 respectively.
This time again social media will be abuzz with the hashtag #austgrad15 which will be trending on all the popular social media platforms. Graduating students are encouraged to express and share their joy through this hashtag and be the proud graduates of the “Class of the Year of Innovation”. This year, 1700 and 620 students are expected to graduates from Ajman and Fujairah campuses.
