Dubai, United Arab Emirates (February 14, 2015): Keeping in line with its commitment to recognize and motivate exceptional performance, the International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS) felicitated high-achieving students in the annual awards ceremony recently held at the school premises. This year’s award program witnessed 108 students, from grades 7 to 12, being honoured in the presence of their parents and seniors from Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI).
While nine academic awards were presented to students with scholastic ability, four non-academic awards honoured students in the fields of arts, music, community service, and demonstration of strong leadership qualities. As every year, an AMSI Alumni presents the awards and addresses the students in hopes to inspire them so that they too can make a difference in future students’ lives. This year, the awards were presented by Mrs. Hind Seddiqi, an AMSI alumni of Al Mawakeb School - Class of 2002. Mrs. Hind Seddiqi, a leading representative of the retail sector, was recognized as the 74th Most Powerful Arab Women by Arabian Business magazine.
Lauding the efforts of the students, Mrs. Seddiqi said: “I would like to congratulate all award winners; they remain an inspiration to their peers and juniors. I strongly believe that a school is not just a place to learn various subjects, but is a community where children spend most of their childhood and adolescent days; in an environment where their characters are shaped and influenced. ISAS is a school where both personal and academic growth are given equal importance, and is a place where students are groomed to become strong, independent and disciplined individuals with a solid educational background.”
Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), which governs Al Mawakeb Schools & ISAS, provides regular opportunities to enthuse students to walk that extra mile in both academic and non-academic programs, and be an example of diligence & remarkable performance to others.
