South Korea Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Visits Al Noor Training Centre with Samsung Gulf Electronics

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Feb 8th, 2015 – South Korea’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Dr. Hwang Woo-yea paid a visit to Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs today – Samsung’s first Corporate Citizenship partner in the region. Accompanied by Mr. Marco Vocale, Head of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Gulf Electronics, Dr. Woo-yea and a team of dignitaries toured the centre’s facilities and explored classrooms enabled with the Samsung Smart Classroom Solution, a set of devices that have made learning more collaborative, intuitive and impactful at the school.
Commenting on the visit, Mr. Marco Vocale, Head of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Gulf Electronics said: “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Hwang Woo-yea and his team to Al Noor today. Through our Corporate Citizenship Program ‘Samsung Hope for Children,’ we have the opportunity to play an active role in the educational development of children with special needs at Al Noor Training Centre. We are strong advocates of supporting technology based learning and believe it is important to give back and contribute to the communities in which we operate.”
