Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University honors distinguished administrative and faculty members

UAE, January 24, 2015 – Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) recently honored the distinguished members of its faculty and administrative staff who have completed three and five years of service with the university. The move is in recognition of their valuable contributions over the past years, which has helped consolidate the university’s leading position as the best model for smart learning in the Arab world. On this occasion, the Human Resources Management department organized a ceremony in the presence of Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, University Chancellor, who commended the honorees for their commitment towards excellence while also encouraging them to innovate in order to ensure that the university’s vision of enriching knowledge and achieving breakthroughs in education are achieved. Dr. Al Awar also  emphasized that efforts should be maintained to develop a culture of innovation between administrative and academic communities in response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, declaring 2015 as a ‘Year of Innovation’ in the UAE. It is also in line with the objectives of the ‘National Innovation Strategy’ recently launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
