Eintracht Frankfurt playing Al Ain FC and Hamburger SV in Abu Dhabi

•    Eintracht legend Karl-Heinz “Charly” Körbel bringing Football Academy to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 11 January 2015 – For the third consecutive year, German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt is visiting Abu Dhabi for their annual winter training camp. From 13 – 21 January 2015, the players will enjoy outstanding conditions while preparing for the second half of the season.

During their one-week stay, the team of Eintracht manager Thomas Schaaf will be playing two friendly matches. On 15 January, Eintracht is facing Bundesliga club Hamburger SV at the magnificent Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, with kick off at 8:00pm. The match will be broadcasted live in Germany on Hessischer Rundfunk as well as in the UAE on Abu Dhabi Sports.

The second friendly match will be hosted by Eintracht’s partner club Al Ain FC – the most successful football club in the UAE – on 18 January at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. The match will be broadcasted live on EintrachtTV and Abu Dhabi Sports with kick off at 8:00pm.

The team will also participate in the Awarding Ceremony and soccer Camp with Daman Super 11 in the Emirates Palace on Saturday 17 January 2015.
For the first time, Eintracht legend and Bundesliga all-time record player Karl-Heinz “Charly” Körbel is bringing Eintracht Frankfurt Football Academy to Abu Dhabi, running football camps with school children and supporting local sports projects.
