New franchise model helps Asteco secure sought-after title at annual Enterprise Agility Awards 2014; second coup as leading property services company awarded Superbrands accolade
Asteco, the Middle East’s largest independent full service real estate company, has added two high profile accolade to its list of achievements, with newly awarded Superbrands status and recognition as Entrepreneur of the Year in the real estate category at the annual UAE Enterprise Agility Awards.
The regional real estate leader scooped the prestigious Enterprise Agility Awards title for its recently launched franchise model, the latest addition to Asteco’s comprehensive real estate services portfolio.
The annual awards recognise and honour enterprise leaders across 20 industry sectors who have demonstrated innovation and outstanding business conduct as well as being key drivers of the MENA region economies.
Commenting on the win, John Stevens, Asteco’s Managing Director, said: “Asteco has long been recognised as an industry innovator and has made a remarkable contribution to the real estate landscape in the region as well as to the UAE economy, and we are delighted to be the recipient of this prestigious award.
“We have continually set the benchmark for business excellence in the Middle East and with the debut of our new franchise operation, are offering other entrepreneurs as well as established small-scale operators a unique opportunity to help grow the real estate sector with our support.”
Launched earlier this year, the new licensing services division was created to offer small and mid-size real estate companies, independent realtors and regional entrepreneurs looking to expand their existing businesses, or launch a start-up, access to Asteco’s 30-year brand pedigree and vast experience.
Asteco is the only locally established, full service real estate business offering this bespoke franchise opportunity. The company has witnessed incredible growth in the last 30 years and in the process built a strong regional presence with a network of offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Jordon and Qatar.
According to Wissame Younane, Director, BNC Publishing/Entrepreneur MENA – organiser of the Enterprise Agility Awards: “[We are] committed to highlighting industry best practices. On a personal note, as an entrepreneur, sharing the company of the Middle East’s most respected figures of enterprise is an inspiring and educational experience.”
In a second coup, the UAE Superbrands Council also named Asteco to its latest trusted brands listing, providing further cause for celebration.
“At the same time, Asteco’s accession to Superbrands status cements our position as a brand of note in the region; something we take great pride in as we look ahead to another exciting year of business,” said Stevens.
A respected independent authority, Superbrands is an acknowledged arbiter of branding excellence, with its awards programme, a powerful endorsement of brand status.
Asteco is one of the regions few all-round professional full services real estate companies offering a range of business lines including sales, leasing, asset management, valuation & advisory, sales management and owner association.
