In conversation with Soha Ali Khan at DPS Academy

The lovely and talented Soha Ali Khan will be visiting the city on 13th December to inaugurate the DPS Academy Winter Carnival at the school premises in Academic City. This event will host a chat show with this young super achiever on developing a w’holistic’ child giving equal importance and exposure to academic and non-academic aspects of education. Soha Ali Khan attended The British School in New Delhi and studied modern history at the Balliol College, Oxford and went onto acquiring a Masters degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also worked in the corporate world before pursuing her love for acting and went onto winning critical acclaim for her performances over the past 10 years. She is an ideal candidate to provide invaluable advice to parents in raising children with equal focus on scholastic and co-scholastic skills. When asked on “what advice would she give to parents struggling to achieve this elusive balance?” she replied “Achieving all I did was not easy as many would believe. It came with discipline and determination and the understanding that there were many opportunities to explore before you decide on your final choices.”

DPS Academy principal, Mrs. Sandhya Awasthi mentioned the mammoth responsibility to steer the child constructively yet creatively without losing the identity of the child is the most important or biggest challenge our current generation of parents are facing. The chat session with Soha Ali Khan will be on from 12:30pm till 1:30pm at DPS Academy in Academic City, Dubai followed by the Winter Carnival of the school.
