Dubai, United Arab Emirates (December 3, 2014): Marking 43 years of prosperity and giving in the UAE, Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), a leading academic solutions provider which manages both ISAS and Al Mawakeb Schools, celebrated the nation’s 43rd National Day in a day-long celebration with numerous activities initiated by the schools.
In the days leading up to the National Day celebrations, several Pre-National Day activities took place across the schools in preparation for the festivities. Al Mawakeb Schools and ISAS were embellished with UAE flags to portray the spirit of solidarity and unity that mark the National Day celebrations.
AMSI students also took part in creating the world’s longest Graffiti scroll, an initiative announced by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council which took place on November 29 and 30 near Jumeirah Beach Park.
The festivities kicked off with the National Anthem followed by a parade and dance by the KG students. The crowd was enthralled by the various dances performed by students across all the grades especially the traditional Youla Dance which captivated the audience. The Scouts troop performed their National Day routine followed by a massive painting for HH Sheikh Mohammed’s 3-fingered salute “Win, Victory and Love”.
Inside the school premises, the visitors were able to experience authentic UAE hospitality. There were tents filled with traditional items from the UAE culture, a traditional Emirati food corner, falcons, henna and face painting for students and parents, horse riding and an Emirati Musical Band.
Commenting on the celebrations, Alissar Nasr-Soubra, AMSI CAO stated, “43 years and going strong. We are indeed proud to be a part of this 43 year old journey. We are truly happy and look forward to each and every day with great happiness and hope and pride. Our heartiest felicitations to the UAE, and everyone who believes in the undeniable determination and courage of this country and its people.”
