United Arab Emirates; October 27, 2014 - Carré Products, the French expert in smart energy management, engages in the design and manufacturing of eco-efficient solar lighting products. The company will be showcasing 2 innovative product ranges at the ADIPEC exhibition to be held from 10 to 13 November 2014 in Abu Dhabi. Specialist outdoor lighting distributors will get a view of Carré Products’ expertise at booth No. 9225B.
- Current environmental and economic context
The Middle East is undergoing outstanding economic growth. Despite this, the access to the power grid can be both complex and costly. Middle Eastern countries enjoy an abundance of sunlight throughout the year which allows for significant energy production. This plentiful and free supply of energy makes it possible to dispense with the power grid for some applications such as lighting.
With a high-performance and efficient technology, solar lighting can offer an equivalent level and quality of service to conventional lighting. This provides a backdrop for fresh thinking on the lighting of roads and networks, industrial sites and farms. The products designed and manufactured by Carré Products are in line with these new opportunities.
- Carré Products solutions
Carré Products boasts two product ranges: LUSOLA (bollard lights and columns) and SOLALED (lamps of up to 8m) and also offers PREMIUM products for industry professionals. The company’s products cover a broad range of applications, including road lighting, lighting of industrial sites or farms in addition to lighting of sites that are isolated from the power grid.
The batteries used are manufactured by ARTS Energy, a long-established French Nickel battery manufacturer, and are especially suited to operate at high temperature thereby preserving the battery life even in extreme conditions (70°C).
The “smartness” of the solutions lies in tailored electronic control and management. A mini-computer monitors the operation of the various components and the outside environment. In this way, the products automatically adapt to their environment and the weather conditions, maximise capacity and increase the service life of the system in particular the battery that can last 10 years without maintenance.
Therefore, as a result of the Radio communication developed by Carré Products, lighting units communicate with each other and towards the outside world in order to provide new features such as remote system monitoring.
With Carré Products, it is now possible to obtain high-performance long-lasting lighting without being connected to the power grid.
