Dubai-UAE: 14 October, 2014 – Damas, the Middle East’s leading jewellery and watch retailer, has announced the signing of an agreement with Tanishq, India’s most premium jewellery brand from the Tata Group. The brand’s jewellery collection is now available at select Damas stores across the GCC.
Tanishq jewellery, from the Tata Group, has been synonymous with superior craftsmanship, exclusive designs and guaranteed product quality since its establishment in the early 1990s. It has built for itself the envious reputation of being the only jewellery brand in the country that strives to understand the Indian woman and provide her with jewellery that meets her traditional and contemporary aspirations and choices.
Tanishq offers a wide range of gold jewellery in pure 22k designed to suit all occasions from wedding to everyday wear, from the traditional mangalsutras to the more fashionable necklaces, earrings, chains, bangles and rings.
Anan Fakhreddin, CEO of Damas, said: “At Damas, we believe that quality comes from innovation and creativity is at the heart of the brand. We are committed to serve our loyal customers in the best possible way across the GCC region. You will find Tanishq jewellery in our flagship Damas Collections such as the newly renovated Lulu Qusais outlet, which reflects our new Damas identity.”
C K Venkataraman, CEO - Jewellery Division, Titan Company Ltd, added: “Damas is a leading international brand with more than 100 years’ experience in the jewellery industry. With its intrinsic Arabic heritage, the brand brings along invaluable local trade expertise within the GCC market, making it the perfect partner to launch our reputed brand of jewellery in the region.”
