NREC announces the successful completion of a KWD 154.4 million debt refinancing

Kuwait,September 28, 2014 – National Real Estate Company KPSC, one of the leading real estate companies in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region (referred to as “NREC” or the “Company”), announcesthe refinancing of a KWD 154.40million loan facility.
The previousKWD 154.40 million loan facility consisted of a KWD 88.40 million short term loan and a KWD 66 million medium term loan. With the completion of the refinancing, the new loan facility now consists of a KWD 11 million short term loan and overdraft facility and a KWD 140 million long term loan to be repaid in seven years. The Company's total debt level remains unchanged.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Jamil Sultan Al-Essa, Chairman of NREC said:
