Shoppers to enjoy extended mall timings during ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha'

The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), announced today that the prominent shopping malls in Dubai will be extending malls timing during the 7th edition of ‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha’ celebrations, which will commence on 25th September and go on till 11th October 2014

Aimed at offering both regional and international shoppers the additional convenience of shopping until early hours of morning during the long Eid break, the initiative will be implemented at a series of malls in Dubai including City Centre Diera, City Centre Mirdiff, Mall of Emirates and Dubai Festival City. Eid timings in the aforementioned malls will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 am for retail shops, and 10:00 am to 2:00 am for cafés and restaurants on week days, while weekends will see retailers open till 2:00 am and restaurants till 3:00 am.

On the same note, Meracto Mall announced that it will extend its shopping hours only from 2nd October to 11th October 2014. Retailers will open from 10:00am to 12:00 midnight on weekdays and till 1:00 am on weekends, while restaurants in the Italian themed Mall will receive customers from 10:00am to 1:00am on week days, and till 2:00 am on weekends.

The extended mall hours will complement “Eid in Dubai” slogan of “United in Celebration” by providing shoppers and their families the opportunity to enjoy the full range of in-mall entertainment and shopping experiences at these shopping centres, including an exciting line-up of family-oriented events for both parents and children and the amazing discounts and promotions that are up for grabs as part of the Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Adha festivities.

From a range of designer and sought after brands and stores to shop at, to a wide selection of family-favourite dining choices, visitors and residents of all nationalities can expect to find everything they need to create memories of a fun-filled Eid Al Adha at all of the leading shopping centres of Dubai. Further, donned with lively decorations and interactive in-mall activities organized specially for the festival, the ambience will ensure a thoroughly enjoyable experience for one and all.
