Roger Marti Appointed as Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Dubai

Grand Hyatt Dubai is delighted to announce the appointment of Roger Marti as its new Executive Chef, overseeing the entire culinary operations of the property including 13 award-winning restaurants and bars.
Chef Roger started an illustrious career with Hyatt in 2009 as the Executive Sous Chef at Grand Hyatt Shanghai and was subsequently promoted to his most-recent position as Executive Chef at the iconic Hyatt on the Bund ‐ Shanghai. Prior to joining Hyatt, he had already amassed varied experience at key international establishments including Sentosa Resort & Spa in Singapore, Hotel Conrad London, Mount Juliet Conrad Ireland; and the Victoria‐Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Switzerland. Chef Roger also participated in a number of guest chef appearances at the Hotel Dorchester London, Hotel Conrad London and Conrad Centennial in Singapore.
With a career spanning more than 23 years, Chef Roger has melded his interest in global culture with his passion for the culinary arts and often uses the influence of regional cuisine in his kitchen. His education in Switzerland coupled with experience in Asia lends him a culinary vision that best suits the hotel.
Commenting on his new role, Chef Roger says “I am very excited to continue my culinary journey here in Dubai, the heart of the Middle East when it comes to cuisine. I look forward to enhancing the fine nuances of regional flavours in our menus while retaining the authenticity which we are famous for.”
