France's substantial hotel equipment offer on display at Hotel Show Dubai
Last Update: Thursday, September 11, 2014 : 17:57 (+4GMT)
United Arab Emirates; September 2014 - From September 28th to 30th, the UBIFRANCE (French Agency for International Business Development) Pavilion will feature 24 French manufacturers. Their eclectic, first-class know-how is sure to spark great interest among the key decision makers in public and private projects and the purchasing directors for major hotel chains who will be there in force, attending the region’s leading tradeshow to explore the hotel sector’s new trends. This yearly event is a must for anyone with views on the Middle Eastern or North African markets; last year, it attracted 16,750 visitors and 560 exhibitors from 80 countries.
Chosen to host the second-next World Expo in 2020, Dubai is about to initiate a host of hotel projects and the city’s hotel capacity has to double between now and then. The reason that the decoration sector is doing so well in the region at the moment is that many hotel and residential projects are reaching completion, representing a market in the Gulf thought to be worth $22b; the United Arab Emirates account for two thirds of the projects’ overall worth.
Coming into such a dynamic, promising market, France’s offer stands out through the sheer diversity and upscale quality of its products. 24 companies will be on hand to provide equipment and solutions which can, as a rule, be scaled to the demand.
In order to ensure that guest rooms remain intimate, you will be able to choose designer blinds to your specifications; for the walls, you can opt for paintings or for fully-integrated audio/video systems featuring a wide range of mirror screens. As a finishing touch, the resulting cosy comfort feeling can be enhanced using room fragrances.
For the floors, exceptional bespoke carpets combining tradition and modernity will vie for your attention against leather tile flooring. The decoration fabrics and accessories used in covering the seating and furniture can be made to match the hotel-quality household linen.
Porcelain and china manufacturers will put the best table top pieces on display, highlighting how inseparable table top is from French gastronomy.
Nowadays, minibars are automated and they use very little energy. They make it possible to bill guest purchases in real-time, with a direct interface for sending billing data to hotel management software.
Lighting has not be left aside. Whether concealed behind metallic fabrics or backlit wall faces, both indoor and terrace lighting fixtures can blend with both traditional and design furniture and will fit into the technical coatings, stretched walls or ceilings.
Structural woodwork makes use of a few clever tricks for facilitating the day-to-day use of doors and windows accessories, enhanced with art ironwork and furniture design.
Wine cellars now feature precise technology that ensures that the wine enjoys optimal ageing and conservation. The specific characteristics have been worked out on the basis of observations made in the best natural cellars.
Lastly, outdoor furniture can be surrounded by water walls to enhance gardens, or by outdoor showers placed alongside the swimming pool.
The Alsace Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Regional Board of Trades and Crafts (CMRA) have been conducting highly dynamic initiatives to raise awareness among new businesses of the benefits of exhibiting at the French Pavilion. All participants will be located in 4 display islands stretching along the Blue-Line, by the entrance to Hall 4 at the new International Village at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
