45 Percent of UAE Residents Purchase Their IT Products at GITEX Shopper, Finds Acer Survey

Deals and Brand Loyalty Play Equal Part in Purchasing Decisions

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (April 23rd 2014) - An Acer survey reveals that 45 percent of UAE residents use GITEX shopper to purchase all their IT products.

The survey also revealed that purchasing decisions were swayed in equal measure by brand loyalty, and deals on offer during shopper, while only 12 percent considered the price of the products as the defining factor.

40 percent of UAE residents are looking to buy a combination of a tablet, Smartphone or a tablet 2-in-1 PC, whereas 20 percent is looking to buy all three. Another 10 percent are in the market for a 2-in-1tablet PC. Smartphones are an agenda for 15 percent of residents, and another 15 percent are inclined towards a tablet.
