AHS Relocates Al Yahar Clinic to New Premises in Al Ain

•    New Facility to Open Doors on 13 April 2014
•    Relocation Prompted by Growth in Patient Base and New Specialist Services Offered by Clinic

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 9 April, 2014 – In its efforts to accommodate the steady growth of patient numbers and expand its portfolio of service offerings in response to customer demand, Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) has announced the relocation of Al Yahar Clinic to new premises in Al Ain.

The clinic will commence operations on Sunday 13 April. Gearing up for the move, the clinic at its current location will function until 10pm on Thursday 10 April, 2014. During the interim period, AHS has taken all necessary measures to ensure minimal disruption of clinical services. Towards this priority, Al Maqam Clinic will function 3pm to 10pm on 11 April and 12 April. Additionally, the Al Muwaiji clinic will receive patients on Saturday 7am to 10pm, 12 April 2014.

The new facility will cater to the healthcare needs of people in Al Yahar, Al Saad and Al Sulaimat areas, and offer consultation, treatment and referral services from 7am to 10pm, on Sunday through Thursday and revised weekend timings from 12 noon to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Patients are encouraged to make an appointment to avoid the waiting time for walk-in service.

Mohamed Hawas, Acting CEO, AHS said: “Amid the rapid progress being witnessed by Abu Dhabi in all walks of life and the subsequent population growth, AHS has perceived the necessity of upgrading its network of healthcare centres in a phased manner to ensure that our services do not fall short of the customer needs and expectations. 

“The new Al Yahar Clinic will offer upgraded facilities and medical equipment to facilitate the delivery of a portfolio of new services.” 

Fitted with the latest medical and diagnostic equipment, the new facility will offer family medicine ,pediatrics, chronic disease clinic, well child clinic , obstetrics and gynecology, antenatal care, nutrition, blood collection, patient and family education, pharmacy, screening services, vaccination, weqaya screening, women's health, dental services, general x-ray, dental panoramic x-ray and ultrasound services. Based on utilization and patient demand, the clinic will seek to add dermatology, ENT and ophthalmology services to its portfolio of offerings in the future.
